There is no greater exercise of faith than reading and studying God’s Word! Hearing His voice, having Him speak into your life and receiving the revelation of His will is irreplaceable!! YOU ARE ENCOURAGED and EXHORTED to join us as we study His Word together.

To enhance your prayer life, enrich your worship experience and be equipped to share your faith, you must first lay the foundation of hearing, knowing and studying His Word. How firm is your foundation? Won’t you join us?!


Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study
Please JOIN US for an expanded adult Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the Prayer Center. Our time together includes worship, Bible study, discussion and prayer.


Sunday School of the Bible
The Sunday Adult School of the Bible Classes (9:00-9:45am) are designed to be informal and encourage discussion in a relaxed setting where you will be able to interact with your group over a cup of tea or coffee. Starbuck’s Coffee, donuts and more are available every Sunday morning from 8:45-9:45am just outside the Education Wing. All proceeds will go to offset Teen Bible Quiz expenses. The Spring quarter (March-May) begins Sunday, March 2. You may choose from these topics:

Adult Classes

Foundations For Faith / Newcomers’ Class
Teachers: Bob Searfoss & Leadership Team (Room 132)
This class is for anyone interested in learning more about Dayspring and the doctrines we believe. We examine the Biblical basis for what we believe and why. Salvation, Holy Spirit baptism and gifts, end times and more are topics of discussion. This is an ongoing class that we encourage those new to Dayspring to attend. It is also required for membership.

Digging Deeper into His Word
Teacher: Frank Zenner (Room 134)
Communication is the key to any meaningful relationship and God speaks to us through His Word. Are you listening? Are you reading? As a congregation we will once again be encouraged to join together and read His Word this year and many will join in the journey. We invite you to begin NOW and join us as we study His Word together and dig deeper into books of the New Testament, Psalms & Proverbs. Each week we will follow the published reading plan, discuss and study God’s Word and listen as He speaks to us and guides us by His Holy Spirit.

Biblical Financial Stewardship
Teacher: Bob Koenigbauer (Room 136)
Join us as we find within God’s Word Scriptural foundations of financial stewardship. Matthew 6:33 is just one of God’s principles given for us to follow. We’ll discuss the Biblical principles of tithing, sowing & reaping, right business relationships and more. This class will cover topics such as: 1) Developing a practical budget, 2) Understanding investing, 3) How to survive during financial hardship, 4) How to save for your children’s college, 5) How to have a secure retirement, 6) How to live debt free . . .and more!


Our Role as Christians in Politics Today
Teacher: Ed Sitter (Room 133/135)
What is the role of faith in the world of politics? How do we negotiate the “separation of church & state?” From many of the founding fathers of our country to you and me today, what is the impact of Christian faith on the government of the United States of America? According to Scripture, what are our responsibilities as Christ-followers with regard to participating in the political process? This timely class will challenge and inspire you to consider your role, as a Christian, and how you can impact the course of our government in this important election year.


“Being Sent”

Mexico City/Cairo, Egypt Missions Team Training
(Rm 120)
This is a mandatory class for those who have been approved and are planning to participate in this year’s “Mercy Mission” trip to Mexico City or Cairo, Egypt. As we come together for training, teaching and prayer, the Spirit will build unity and purpose within our team.


Young Adults Classes

Young Adults – A Legacy of Leadership
Teacher: Gregg Wilkerson (Panera Bread)
All young adults are invited weekly on Sunday mornings to Panera Bread (downtown Bowling Green) from 9:00 -9:45am. Grab some coffee with us, meet some new people, and learn to live out your faith as you become a better leader. We will combine leadership training from proven authors with clear Biblical principles of leadership.

Special Needs / Special Gifts
Teachers: Special Needs Leadership Team (Room 110)
For teens/young adults with special needs. Our desire is for those with special needs and their families to be nurtured in the redeeming love of Jesus and actively participate in the Body of Christ. Scripture makes it clear that God views the parts of the Body that seem to be weaker as indispensable and deserving of our loving attention!

Youth Classes

FUEL 6.8 (6th - 8th grade)
Teachers: Dave & Kati Thompson (Room 241)
There is no better time to jump in with both feet and XLR8 your relationship with God. Are you looking for a new challenge? Something to embrace as your own? An exciting journey? One that will force you to come face to face with God? FUEL 6.8 is where you belong. Are you ready to go extreme for God? (Food is provided each week)

FUEL 9.12 (9th - 12th grade)
Teachers: High School Students (Room 245)
If you’re not going to be home in bed on Sunday morning, you might as well be growing spiritually. FUEL 9.12 is the place for just that. Grab some food and enjoy open discussion on a variety of topics relevant to you and your journey with God. See you there!

Teen Bible Quiz (7th - 12th grade)
Teachers: Jeff & Vicky Albrecht (Rms 243 & 247)
The 2007-2008 Bible Quiz season has arrived. The books we are studying, memorizing and quizzing over are Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Philemon. Come check us out any Sunday at 9:00am.
